Allan Corduner is a Swedish born English actor.

Biography[]

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Corduner initially trained as a pianist before attending Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He would began as a theatre actor, playing parts in such productions as Serious Money and Theatre at Midnight before progressing into films, most notably as Sir Arthur Sullivan in Topsy-Turvy.

As well as a varied film and television career, playing roles in films including De-Lovely, The Merchant of Venice and Joe Gould's Secret, Corduner also became a known voice performer, appearing in a number of radio plays and portraying Professor Snape and Argus Filch amongst others in the Harry Potter series of games.

Singing[]

As well as performing "The Lost Chord" in Topsy-Turvy and (briefly) "Auprès de ma Blonde" in the black comedy Burke & Hare, Corduner also appeared in a number of stage musicals.

He originated the role of Steward Henry Etches in Titanic and played such roles as Horace Vandergelder in Hello, Dolly! and Cap'n Andy Hawks in Show Boat.
