Andrew Lincoln is an English actor.


Born Andrew Clutterbuck in London, England, he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and began his work on television with an appearance on Drop the Dead Donkey and the key role of Walter Hartright in The Woman in White. He came to public attention in the series This Life, and for his roles in the films Human Traffic and as the lovesick Mark in Love Actually.

Though continuing to appear in both feature films and on television, Lincoln's greatest success was being cast as Rick Grimes in the long running series The Walking Dead.


Lincoln made his sole singing appearance in an episode of This Life, performing the duet "Place Your Hands".
