Anton Rodgers was an English actor.

Born in London, Rodgers studied at the Italia Contia Academy and London Academy of Music and Arts and first appeared on stage aged fourteen, before appearing on the American stage as Pip in Great Expectations. As an adult actor, he made his name in comedies and revues, as well as straight roles such as the lead in Henry V and Vladimir in Waiting for Godot.

In later years, Rodgers balanced his stage career with directing plays and appearing in a number of major motion pictures including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and 2004's The Merchant of Venice, as well as narrating the childrens' series Old Bear. He passed away in 2007.

Primarily working on stage, Rodgers made a large number of musical appearances, debuting in Carmen aged only 14 and later joining the chorus of The Boy Friend. He originated the role of Jingle in the West End and Broadway productions of Pickwick and made his sole film musical appearance in another Dickens adaptation; Scrooge, performing the number "Thank You Very Much".

In later years, Rodgers appeared in Songbook, and made his final musical role as Grandpa Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
