Barbara Luddy was an American actress.

Biography

Born in Great Falls, Montana, Luddy began her career as a silent film actress in 1925, though she also appeared often on radio, and was a cast member on the long-running The First Nighter Program.

Luddy frequently provided voices for Disney productions, notably Lady in Lady and the Tramp, and the fairy Merryweather in Sleeping Beauty.

She passed away in 1979.

Singing

Luddy sang a handful of times in her roles for Disney, performing "What Is a Baby?" in Lady and the Tramp, and as Kanga in the short Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree.
