Cyril Delevanti was an English actor.


Born Harry Cyril Delevanti in London, England, he made his film debut in 1931's Devotion and would go on to make appearances in such films as Limelight, Bye Bye Birdie and most memorably The Night of the Iguana for which he received a Golden Globe nomination.

Delevanti also made a number of appearances in various television series, most prominently as Lucius Coin in Jefferson Drum. He also had guest roles in The Untouchables, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Dragnet.

Delevanti passed away in 1975.


Delevanti had only one singing role, as the bank partner Mr. Grubbs in Mary Poppins.
