D'jamin Bartlett is an American actress.

BiographyEdit

Born in New York City, she trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and made her professional stage debut in 1971, before appearing in the starmaking role of Petra in A Little Night Music, earning her a Drama Desk Award for Most Promising Newcomer.

Bartlett continued to act and perform in regional and tour productions, though she also set up a music company with her husband.

SingingEdit

Since her professional stage debut in Godspell, Bartlett cultivated a lengthy singing career on stage, being spotted and invited to audition for the role of Petra in A Little Night Music, which she originated on Broadway.

Bartlett would make her next Broadway appearance soon after in Boccaccio, after which she performed in smaller productions and tours such as My Fair Lady (in which she played Eliza) and Pippin in 1977.
