Dominic Guard is an English actor.


Born in London, Guard made his debut aged fourteen and proceeded to make a number of appearances as a child actor and adult performer before acting opposite his brother Christopher in an animated adaptation of The Lord of the Rings.

Guard appeared on stage in The Jeweller's Shop, a play written by the future Pope John Paul II and continued to act until the year 2000, when he subsequently became a child psychotherapist and author.


Guard made his sole singing appearance in The Go-Between as the character of Leo, a role which won him the Most Promising Newcomer BAFTA.
