Edward Norton is an American actor.

Biography[]

Born in Boston, Massachussetts, Norton acted in university and made his professional debut in the off Broadway play Fragments. He earned an Academy Award nomination for his film debut in Primal Fear and a second for American History X. Shortly afterwards, Norton appeared in the cult classic Fight Club.

In 2000, he made his directorial debut with Keeping the Faith, and continued to appear in a range of films, including The Illusionist and The Incredible Hulk. He also received a third Academy Award nomination for the critically acclaimed Birdman in 2014.

Singing[]

Norton has sang several times on screen, in Everyone Says I Love You, one of his earliest films involving singing and dancing to a number of classic love songs. He also notably appeared as the titular character in Death to Smoochy, which involved singing a number of songs (which he also wrote) in the style of a costumed children's television show presenter.
