Born in Paris, France, she studied with Stagecoach Theatre Arts, she made her film debut in as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, and went on to appear in such films as My Week With Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Noah. She also voiced Princess Pea in The Tale of Despereaux .
