Colin Farrell is an Irish actor.

Biography[]

Born in Castleknock, Dublin, Farrell first studied at the Gaiety School of Acting before appearing in Ballykissangel. He would go on to appear in a number of blockbuster films soon after, including Minority Report, Phone Booth and Daredevil.

Farrell continued to make film appearances ranging from epics such as Alexander the Great to surreal and dark comedies including Intermission and In Bruges. He also played a major role in the fantasy adventure Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Singing[]

Farrell first sang onscreen on the soundtrack of Intermission, performing a rendition of The Clash's "I Fought the Law." He also had a major singing role as Tommy Sweet the musician in Crazy Heart.
