Katherine Kelly is an actress.
Biography[]
Born in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Kelly studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and first gained notice as Becky Granger (later McDonald) in Coronation Street before appearing in such television productions as The Best Possible Taste and Mr. Selfridge.
Kelly also in such television dramas as The Field of Blood, Happy Valleys and The Night Manager as well as the Doctor Who spin-off Class.
Singing[]
Kelly first sang on the album Coronation Street: Rogues, Angels, Heroes and Fools as her character Becky, as well as performing "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" as a duet in Mr. Selfridge. She also played Baroness Elsa Schraeder in the television film The Sound of Music Live.
