Biography[]

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kidman studied at the Victorian College of the Arts and Australian Theatre for Young People before making her screen debut in Bush Christmas, aged sixteen. She gained recognition in her native Australia with Dead Calm and in wider circles as Dr. Chase Meridian in Batman Forever, To Die For and Eyes Wide Shut.

Kidman sang a number of times in her career, notably in the musical movie Moulin Rouge!, in which she sang (amongst others) the award winning "Come What May." She also performed the duet "Kiss" in Happy Feet and released the album "Something Stupid" with Robbie Williams.
