SingingEdit

Da Silva was a versatile musical performer, and all of his musical stage roles were those he originated, including Larry Foreman (The Cradle Will Rock), Ben Marino (Fiorello!), Jud Fry (Oklahoma!) and Benjamin Franklin in both the original cast and film version of 1776, though health reasons prevented him from appearing on the cast recording for the original stage musical.
