Ian McNeice is an English actor.
Biography[]
Born in Basingstoke, Hampshire, he studied at Taunton School and the London Academy of Dramatic Arts before spending several years with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He went on to appear in such television series as Edge of Darkness, Rome, Doc Martin and Doctor Who, one of several productions where he portrayed Winston Churchill.
McNeice also appeared in a number of films, including Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Conspiracy and Around the World in 80 Days and served as a voice actor in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

McNeice sang "Bonny Black Hare" in Sharpe's Battle as well as portraying Potiphar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and duetting with his onscreen wife as Albert Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol.
