Keanu Reeves is a Lebanese born American actor.

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Reeves moved to America as a young man and began his career in television and advertisements, before making his breakthrough role in the Bill & Ted series, where he played slacker musician Theodore "Ted" Logan. He later starred in the blockbuster Speed, to great success, but turned down a role in the sequel to play the leading role in Hamlet, earning critical acclaim.

Reeves continued to appear in blockbusters, notably as Neo in The Matrix trilogy as well as the titular roles in both Constantine and John Wick. He also directed the well received martial arts film Man of Tai Chi.

Reeves has performed in role three times, in the 1986 film Babes in Toyland, as his iconic character "Ted" in the animated Bill and Ted series, and singing the romantic standard "Time After Time" in Sweet November.
