Lee Remick was an American actress.

BiographyEdit

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, she studied at Barnard College and the Actor's Studio before making her Broadway debut in 1953 and film debut in 1957's A Face in the Crowd. She soon gained prominence due to roles in such films as Anatomy of a Murder, Experiment in Terror and an Academy Award nominated turn in Days of Wine and Roses.

In 1966, Remick received a Tony nomination for her performance in Wait Until Dark, and would continue to appear in such major films as The Detective and The Omen.

Remick passed away in 1991.

SingingEdit

Remick made her singing debut onscreen in Wild River (performing "In the Garden" and "He Walks With Me") before originating the role of Fay Apple in Anyone Can Whistle on Broadway. She would also play Annie Oakley in Annie, Get Your Gun the following year, and the seductress Lola in the television film Damn Yankees.

Later, Remick appeared as "She" in the musical I Do! I Do! and played Phyllis Rogers Stone in the 1985 concert version of Follies.
