Malcolm Storry is an English actor.

Biography[]

Born in Hull, Yorkshire, he made his television debut in 1978 and had recurring roles in a number of series including Bread or Blood, Dogfood Dan and the Carmarthen Cowboy and running series The Knock where he played the role of Bill Adams. He also appeared in such films as The Princess Bride and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

Also a prolific theatre actor, Storry portrayed Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Prospero and Caliban in The Tempest and Macduff and Banquo in Macbeth. More recently he also had roles in television series Father Brown and Doc Martin.

Singing[]

Storry played the role of Gandalf in the original London production of The Lord of the Rings: The Musical, which, although a major role, only had a single song the duet "Lament for Moria".
