Manning Redwood was an American actor.

Biography[]

Born in New York City as Manning Ross Jr., Redwood's acting career began on television, including the lead role in the miniseries Oppenheimer, before his film debut as a ranger in the The Shining.

Television would remain Redwood's primary medium, often playing key roles in TV movies and miniseries, but he also had the distinction of appearing in two James Bond films, the unofficial Never Say Never Again as General Miller and A View to a Kill as mining CEO Bob Conley.

Redwood moved to England with his wife in 1986 and passed away in 2006.

Redwood had only one singing role, as Harry Weiss in Richard O'Brien's movie musical Shock Treatment.
