Peter Bull was an English actor.

Born in London, England, Bull began his acting career in the theatre, appearing in If I Were You in 1933 and made his film debut in 1936. He would go on to make appearances in many films, frequently in adaptations of Charles Dickens' novels, including Oliver Twist and Scrooge, as well as playing the role of Sergeant Buzfuz in the stage musical Pickwick.

A veteran of British comedies, Bull made perhaps his known role in Dr. Strangelove, in which he portrayed Ambassador De Sadesky, and would also feature in The Lavender Hill Mob, Tom Jones and the original version of Doctor Dolittle, whilst on the stage he originated the part of Pozzo in Waiting For Godot. As well as acting, he wrote one book (Bear With Me) on teddy bears, an adventure novel and a non-fiction work about his experiences in World War II.

Bull passed away in 1984.

Despite appearing in musicals such as Pickwick, Bull made his sole singing appearance as The Duchess in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
