Robert Duncan is an English actor.

Biography[]

Born Robert Welch in St. Austell, Cornwall, he made his screen debut in 1980 and soon made his name in television as the jargon-spouting Gus Hedges in Drop the Dead Donkey.

Duncan often appeared onstage, appearing in such plays as An Ideal Husband, Witness for the Prosecution and The Small Hand as well working as a voice actor on radio shows including Old Harry's Game and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

Singing[]

Duncan sang briefly in Drop the Dead Donkey, joyfully singing "I'm Sitting On Top of the World" after discovering his shares have rocketed.
