Tom Wilkinson is an English actor.

Born in Leeds, Wilkinson graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and became a television actor, gaining recognition for his supporting turn in Martin Chuzzlewit, before becoming a recognised face in cinema after playing the foreman in The Full Monty. He gained an Academy Award nomination for his role in In the Bedroom and a second one some years later for Michael Clayton.

Wilkinson also made several appearances in historical dramas, as the treacherous Friedrich Fromm in Valkyrie, and notably as Joseph Kennedy Sr. in miniseries The Kennedys, which gained him an Emmy Award nomination.

Wilkinson has sung briefly in a few productions, singing the standard "Green Green Grass of Home" in Priest, "Silly Billy Willy" in Another Life, and can be heard on the soundtrack of Jackboots on Whitehall lending his voice to the patriotic anthem "Jerusalem".
